Originally from Lille, France, Jean François DE GROOTE is a clarinetist and composer who graduated from the conservatories of Roubaix, Limoges, and Saint-Étienne (gold medal and Diploma of Musical Studies).
He is a member of several groups, including the clarinet quartet "Les Clartones" and "Vânt În Est" eastern music. As a wind orchestra musician, he recorded as a soloist on the CD Centavia, which performed a gala concert before the cavalry band of the Republican Guard, the Air Music Big Band, and the Bagad of Lann Bihouhé. A pedagogue, he holds a position in the territorial civil service, as well as a University Diploma in Music Education and a cultural mediation license.
He teaches at the conservatories of Thiers and Lezoux (63). Encouraged by composer Isabelle Aboulker (neoclassical), he composes and publishes albums for children, such as "Popcorn Christmas" and "I Dreamed of Magic" ... He offers vocal practice workshops centered around French songs.
